About Us
Owner Marc Turo
Over a century ago, Leonardo, my great grandfather, came to America from Italy. He, along with his six sons, opened Turo's Market on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, MA. The success of Turo's market turned into a new venture for the family.
In 1962, Leo's Ristorante was founded by my father Leo, my brother Fran and the rest of our family. Leo's opened just across the street from Turo's market. In 1986, Leo's moved to Brackett Court where the family tradition is still carrying on.
In 2002, my brother Franny and I opened Goodfellas Martini Bar, and later, the Pearl Oyster Bistro until 2007. Now, I bring you a combination of old school Italian and modern flair here at Bistro Limoncello. Founded in 2009 and located in Northborough, MA, Bistro Limoncello has turned out to be a huge success. Come join us for some great food, drinks, and music. See for yourself what everybody is talking about.
I'll See You Soon,
Marc
"I wanted to express how pleased my dinner party of 5 was with our meals at Bistro Limoncello this evening.
We arrived at your restaurant without a reservation after a Matinee performance at the Hanover Theater. We were early so it was possible to seat us very quickly. Our Waitress was excellent, and I am sorry to say that I don't remember her name, but she was attentive without hovering and also had a great sense of humor. All 5 women ordered different items from your menu, and every one of us was extremely pleased with our food and the presentation.
We are season ticket holders at the Hanover Theater and have tried different restaurants in the greater Worcester area following each performance over the last 3 years. We all agreed that Bistro Limoncello reached the pinnacle in our dining experiences for the food, presentation and the service.
Thank you for an excellent meal -- we will return for another great dining experience." -Jean
